The Per Crucem canon, originally composed by J. Berthier for the Taizé Community, reflects on Jesus' death as a crucial event for human salvation. In this experimental electronic remix by Catalan duo b1n0 (Hidden Track, Foehn Records), microwave drone, Latin vocals, organ, and synthesizer arrangements chase each other in a quest for balance between the earthly and the divine, creating a visceral experience reminiscent of paving a way through a cloud of flies with a whip. The genres of this remix include Soul, Post-Dubstep, and PBR&B.
